Singapore’s National Wellness Strategy focusing primarily on physical wellness and social wellness in several key areas: (1) Live well, leave well – improving palliative and end-of-life care (2) Everyone encouraged to take ownership of one’s own health eg using HealthHub SG and Healthy 365 and Government will incentivise healthy practices (3) Healthier SG – one Singaporean, one family doctor, with individualised health plan to follow (4) Strengthen the network of local community-based support such as PA and AIC (5) Ageing well, ageing in place.
The Minister of Health Mr Ong Ye Kung shared broad guiding directions for national healthcare in the coming years to 2030s: (1) Healthcare, not sickness care (2) Healthcare in the community, not in hospitals (3) Refreshing activities, not painful procedures (4) Forging memories, not fighting illnesses.
