Spiritual Wellness is about your spirituality and being. Spiritual wellness is being connected to something greater than ourselves, having an appreciation for the broad expanse and depth of life on earth and beyond. Spirituality is expressed in many forms whether tied to a religion, a moral philosophy or a set of personal beliefs.

It is about having a sense of purpose and meaning in life with a personal system of faith, principles, values, ethics and beliefs which guides our daily decisions and choices. The basis of spirituality is discovering a sense of meaningfulness in your life and coming to know that you have a purpose to fulfil in this lifetime on earth and you try to achieve harmony with all your elements. Some tips for enhancing your spirituality –

Have a purpose in life – people who are on purpose like what they are doing.

Have a set of values, beliefs and principles

Take time out regularly to reflect and recharge

Recognise that happiness has more to do with experiencing than having things

Being able to demonstrate compassion and care for humanity and the environment.

Your core, your identity and your purpose are all linked to your spiritual wellness. Be true to yourself and live authentically.

Signs of spiritual wellness include clear values, a sense of self-confidence and feelings of inner peace and harmony in our lives.
